Born on the 25th of November, 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is active Canadian actor and a singer who is renowned for her significant contributions to American television. She has been praised for her exceptional performances on the American television show Law & Order in which she as Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons, and Crossing Jordan, wherein she portrayed Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy has also demonstrated her talent as an actor through films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the indie films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class and The Acting Class, in which she worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. The acting career of Hennessy began in 1988 when she and her twin sister were the characters in Dead Ringers. She briefly appeared in Buddy the Musical - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in the year 1990. Then, in 1993 the actress stepped out of the world of musicals, and into the science-fiction genre, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following year, she was promoted to assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. Parker was also the winner in 2001 of the Tony Award for Best Actress for the Broadway production Proof.
